Reflections are cool now.
Hey there,
instead of a blogshop flame post.
I decided to do a reflection of
the year 2008(thanks for Fazli).
2008, frankly speaking,
it went past pretty quickly.
Now that I try to recall,
everything is a blur.
Maybe because of the lack of
activity I had this year.
2008 was actually a bad year.
Spent 3/4 of it gloom-ing away.
Hahaha, those who I whine to,
you know what I mean.
PW was a chore, I hated it.
I'm never a team person.
I've skipped school so many times.
Got caught smoking.
Failed exams, skipped papers.
I completely boycotted MOB this year.
My math was disastrous.
Hated my chinese teacher.
Hated almost all the teachers, in fact.
Hated MI.
I can't even remember the days I
actually went to school.
I suppose that'd be how my college
life was, a blur.
Hopefully, I'll be more active this year.
Go to school everyday.
Actually study for my tests.
Of course, A levels will be here soon.
It is unimaginable for me to just
simply breeze through it.
I mean, it practically concludes
my whole life.
Truthfully, this year I...
didn't grow much.
I'm quite disappointed in myself.
Well that was the first 3/4.
The final quarter was actually
pretty good, when my brother
bought the Wii.
I cheered up alot, probably because
of my brother and his friends' company.
And also, working at Sitex was fun.
I made a new friend.
In the end, the year concluded itself
pretty well. I am quite happy.
Sadly, my clique will be gone.
In fact, half my class will be.
Either retained/exited or separated.
Cya around, Alif, Bernard, Radin,
Cassie, Khadijah.
Guess I'll be pretty lonesome this year.
I suppose its fine anyway.
Since I'm also not much of a socialite.
But I do hope their paths work out.
That's the least I can do as a friend.
I wish you all enough.
In a nutshell, 2008 started off bad
but it ended off pretty well.
2009 is looking both ways,
I'm hoping it'll be great.
The glass is half full, isn't that right?
Happy New Year to all of you.
I hope you have a great year ahead.
And many many great years ahead of it.
I'm heading off to bed.
With much thanks:
Lau, signing off.
